The Rainy Season on Roatan. TO do, or NOT to do?

Posted on December 6, 2012 by Christine Larose in Roatan Travel tips

They say the Rainy Season is not the greatest timing to visit Roatan and the Bay Islands. Well, I disagree!

You have amazing deals on Vacation Home Rentals & Hotel and Dives Resorts and so many to choose from, you benefit from local restaurants and their great specials, you enjoy wonderful breeze, you dive with only small groups on calm waters, you sleep to the fresh air and when the sun shows up (believe me, it does!), you can find yourself almost alone on the most beautiful white sand beaches of West Bay and West End! That sounds like a great opportunity to me!

Don’t they say that taking too much sun is not good for you anyway?

Here’s something to think about!

HI enjoyed your post. I have been several times but want to try another part to snorkel. Would you have any recommendations that you can just swim out to the reef.

Hello from Roatan Bobbie! You can snorkel and/swim to the reef from many places such as West Bay Beach, West End Beach, Sandy Bay, and also on the Est End of the Island. Hope that helps! thanks!
